A father/mother asks his/her kid to do homework. But the kid prefers to play rather than doing homework because he/she is comfortable to play. Parents want kid to do what they say as they believe it makes a secure future for kid so that they feel comfortable later.
A boss gives a job to his/her employee. Employee doesn’t like to do it because it doesn’t fetch any tangible benefit to him/her which makes them feel comfortable while the boss expects the work to be done because he/she can aim for next step in the ladder where he/she gets more comfort.
If you look in this perspective, the ultimate intention of every human transaction pivots around their craving for comfort. Anyone who excels or stands apart is likely to have come out of that comfort zone to achieve something.
